Shifty Brent - Your Blue Umbrella

You left your blue umbrella beside the kitchen door,
And the rain has quit the window, but I still hear it pour.
Your cup is on the table,
A crescent in the tea; I turn it by the handle the way you asked of me.
Stay a little in this room,
Let the quiet take its time; there's a place beside my shoulder where your hand still fits in mine.
